Mr. Fix-it Handy Man

With 25+ years of experience, and learning from some great Master Craftsmen, Max knows how to fix and build almost anything. Working on older houses, giving them the TLC they deserve, is a particular joy.

Services offered include (but are not limited to) repair, replacement, installation, construction, maintenance:

    * Furniture assembly
    * Shelving and cabinets
    * Toilets, sinks, faucets, and other plumbing and fixtures
    * Electrical switches, outlets, fixtures
    * Gardening, landscaping and yard work
    * Watering systems
    * Interior and exterior painting
    * Decks
    * Fences
    * Appliances
    * General carpentry

Max offers his services at a reasonable hourly rate of $35/hr for smaller stuff, and will often estimate project fees for larger jobs.

Serving Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, and beyond. Job sites further than 25 miles from our home base in Oakland may require a travel/fuel surcharge for less than a half day's work.

Oct 2012: Max is currently taking a sabbatical from handyman services to do some much needed healing and to explore other interests.
